Pittsburgh, PA – The Pittsburgh Stars AAA Hockey Club of the Tier I Hockey Federation (TIHF) are pleased to announce that 18U forward Aidan Moskovitz has signed a USPHL National Collegiate Development Conference (NCDC) tender agreement with the Boston Dogs.
The 2024-25 season is Moskovitz’s fourth season with the Star’s program and first with the Star’s U18 Midget Major squad.
The (6’0″ / 165 lbs.) 17-year-old senior, Montour High School, from Coraopolis, PA, registered 11 points (5 goals, 6 assists), in 25 T1HF regular season and playoff appearances this season.
Overall, Moskovitz tallied 34 points (10 goals, 24 assists), including six power play goals and one shorthanded goal, in 68 games played for the Stars.
During the 2023-24 season, Moskovitz registered 5 points (1 goals, 4 assists), in 25 T1HF regular season and playoff appearances and overall tallied 22 points (10 goals, 12 assists), including one shorthanded goal, in 66 games played for the Stars 16U squad.
During the 2022-23 season, Moskovitz registered 5 points (4 goals, 1 assists), in 14 T1HF regular season and playoff appearances and overall tallied 25 points (11 goals, 14 assists), including four powerplay goals, in 60 games played for the U15 Stars.
During the 2021-22 season, Moskovitz registered 18 points (9 goals, 9 assists), including four powerplay goals, in 53 games played for the U14 Bantam Major Stars.
“Mosky is a hard-working kid,” said Pittsburgh Stars 18U head coach Dave Kosick. “With such a broad skill set, he will be able to fit many roles with Boston.”
The Dogs, who play their home games in the Canton Sportsplex in Canton, MA, and are led by Head Coach and General Manager Cody Gonyeau. The team plays in the NCDC’s nine-team New England Division along with the Boston Jr Rangers (MA), Islanders Hockey Club (MA), Northern Cyclones (NH), Seacoast Spartans (NH), South Shore Kings (MA), Thunder Hockey Club (NH), Utica Jr Comets (NY), and Worchester Railers Hockey Club (MA). The New England Division will expand to 13 franchises, beginning with the 2025-26 season, with the addition of the Junior Bruins (MA), NY Dynamo, Springfield Pics (MA) and Universel Academy (QUE).
