This weekly feature, running throughout the 2023-24 season, pays tribute to outstanding players across all divisions. Our honorees are selected from player nominations submitted by their respective coaches. 9U Division: Nominating Coach: Will Bodine

  • Anthony dominated the ice with 3 goals in a 8-3 win as well as 2 goals in a 3-4 OT loss. He is a presence on the ice and only expect his point production to continue at this pace.

  • I’ve never seen a goalie at this age make so many remarkable saves!

  • Jonathan is a heart and soul player and always gives 110%. It was nice to see him have success this weekend and help our team.

  • Liam played above and beyond giving the Jr Islanders a chance to win in both games on the ice this weekend.

  • Luca has came out this season on fire! He is a huge asset to the team and a fierce competitor!

14U Division: Nominating Coach: Charles Ricard

  • Chase scored 3 goals including a short handed goal, an even strength goal, and a goal with 30 seconds left to tie the game; completing the hattrick in an overall impressive game and leading us to a comeback.

  • Kept us in every game. We lost but he made them all winnable.
